In the event of a birthday dinner there can only be, mystery, murder (hypothetically, of course!), and killer conceptual visuals. Taking place during the Victorian era, a couple of scoundrels must solve a case on the killing of fellow, Lord Mourbourne. What brought these individuals together you may ask? Clearly, the invitations. The invitation visuals consisted of a black silhouette of the birthday girl to mirror the feeling of obscurity and curiosity. The use of a pipe and bubbles brings out a more fun take on the detective aesthetic // theme. The color palette comprises of darker and muted sea-foam and deep deal tones. We enhanced the design with gold to add to the luxurious and upscale feel of the Victorian times. As for the name, given the circumstances of this murderous and delectable event, “Murder on the Menu” came to us instinctively. Tying in a special occasion and theme of the party.
